Avocado Bruschette

About the Recipe


  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped

  • 1/2 Haas avocado, finely chopped

  • 1/2 small onion, diced

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice

  • 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tsp. basalmic vinegar

  • 1 fresh basil leaf, chopped (or pinch of dried basil)

  • sea salt, to taste

  • ground black pepper, to taste

  • 2 vegan and gluten-free slices of toast


  1. In a mixing bowl, toss the tomato. avocado, onion, garlic, lemon juice, oil, vinegar, basil, sale and pepper.

  2. Toast the bread, top with tomatoe's and serve!
