Ingredients
1/2 pounds 99% fat-free organic turkey
1/2 cup egg white (or 4 egg whites)
3 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
3 Tbs. fat free feta cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh spinach
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Pinch of thyme
2 cups green leafy lettuce
GF Bun or Butter lettuce cup
Preparation
In a bowl, mix together the ground turkey, egg whites, oil, feta, garlic, spinach, basil and thyme.
Form into 2 patties.
Heat the grill to medium and cook the patties for 8 minutes on each side, or until they reach internal temperature of 165 F.
Serve each burger over a bed of lettuce or on a GF/whole wheat bun.
